Since opening in 1999, Cliffview Pines Pre-Primary has been a well patronised nursery school. Our large garden and caring staff has contributed to the group of happy children we have today. Cliffview Pines is situated in a tranquil environment where early learning and development of children between the ages of 1 and 6 is offered, catering for individual needs and learning styles.

Children are cared for in a friendly and supportive way where we strive to instill a love for school and learning through exploration and having fun. Our teachers follow a perceptual program in the younger groups. The Grade R focuses on developing and extending perceptual skills as well as introducing pre-reading, pre-arithmetic and pre-writing skills. Our Grade R class is taught by a qualified and experienced teacher who prepares them for Grade 1. We work together with Cliffview Primary to ensure our Grade R students are up to date with their learning. All Grade R children will be comprehensively assessed for school readiness.

As the principal / owner of the Cliffview Pines Pre-Primary School and with 20 years experience in child care, Joan Lawrenson is aware of the importance of a caring and nurturing environment and the dedication required to run and operate a day care centre.

We are registered with the Department of Health and Welfare. All our teachers have many years of experience.
